I have to go to the doc today.....update at bottom

I'm not really looking forward to it. I have to leave work and go to an Endocrinologist for my thyroid and then come all the way back and finish all of my work. BOOHOO!!
I've been having some health issues for almost a month now. I started breaking out in hives and have every night since. Went to the doc, she said that I have a hyperactive thyroid and elevated enzymes in my liver. She keeps making my go for bloodwork and nothing has come out of it. Can't find out whats wrong with me. Now on Sat I went for more bloodwork to be tested for hepititis and a sonogram of my liver. I have to wait until tomorrow for the results, that's when she is in the office. Now I have to get my thyroid checked out.
I have a wedding to plan, I don't have time to be dealing with all of this nonsense. I just hope they can figure out what is causing all of this.


Sorry I rambled on, I am just so frustrated and I hope I made some sense.

I feel your pain. I've had ongoing health issues that seem to never end. Hang in there.

Well, the endocrynologist says that my thyroid is very over active an producing twice as many hormones then normal. He put me on medication, 1 to prevent my thyroid from producing the thyroid hormones and 2 a Beta-Blocker to slow down my heart rate. My heart and everything else in my body is going to fast (on hyper mode). He also said that after taking this medication I will be a different person, less stressed, more calm and a little less excited when it comes to getting annoyed and aggravated by people. That should be interesting and a little scary.
I'll keep you posted on my progress. I am still waiting for more results. I also have to go back for bloodwork in a week to see if the medication is working.
