So the last few months my skin has been very bad, i have tried many over the counter products and nothing is working at all.

So i called my dermatologist that i have used since i was like 13. and they got me a spot today.
I have to get Needles in my pimples, it hurts or stings rather quite a bit, but hopefully by sunday nite my skin should look alot better.

I think i am also going to ask for oral antibiotics to keep my skin from flaring up.

I am 26 why is this happening to me!!!!!?????

Update: Holy cow, you girls are freaking awesome!!! All these repsonses!!! Makes me feel like i am not alone. I went my doctor today, she is soo nice, and gave me oral antibiotics, its new and its called Solodyn wich has minocycine in it.
Its once a day and they are 90 milligrams.
She also gave me a perscription for Benzaclin topical cream. and i got a cleanser and pads from her office. I also got all the BIG ONES injected!
I am going to try the new antibiotics and if they work i will continue, if not i can go on the ones i used to take and that was called duracef.

put your hair up when u take a shower...that's what i do. I use a claw clip and i make sure I shower after working out. otherwise i have MAJOR issues

I said earlier i will post the blemish attack thing i bought from sephora. The guy recommended it to me and it works great. Especially if you get the big ones, by the morning the swelling goes down completely. Its called Olehenriksen, and its a roll-on blemish attack stick. It is kinda small and its $25 but worth it.

my dress is strapless and im sooo worried that im gonna have a big pimple or 5 on my back the big day , thats why im totally thinking there is no way im doing my hair up

just use stuff on your back, i know proactiv has a body package too for people who do break out on their back, you can try that. Worst comes to worst get the vitamin b or is it vitamin E shot, i think its vitamin e

depending where you live & your health insurance i'll share info on my derm..... he's the best he's in manhasset, he's helped me a lot....

I had problems with acne when I was younger. And now, because I insisted on popping them, I have scars. So my skin is really smooth but it still looks like crap because of the reddish scars. I already tried Mederma but that didnt work. Anyone else have this problem??

get a good moisturizer bc benzaclin will dry you out, its good though and will help. The dermatologist recommended cetaphil and i love it.

LOL I thought I was a weirdo for doing that...I wash my hair then put it up in a towel while still in the shower thennn I wash my body that way no conditioner clogs any pores on my body!

i also went on accutane last yr for 5 months with a doasge of 40 mg..i know that ppl go on much higher doses...i went bc since i was like 13 i also was fighting these little pimples under my skin...its the best thing i ever did

aw hope it works for you..I get breakouts sometimes too and it frustrates me because im 25...sometimes I think you get them based on what you eat, or your stress levels

Today we got some gifts from FILs ( a stainless sgteel microwave, & Murad Skin care system, she doesn't think my RX are working the way that they should ( we use the same derm) so she did dome research & we're hoing this works...She said that I should see results in a month
