I recently went to a backyard wedding and it was the best I ever went to! After the dj left and all the food was gone, we still wanted to party, so we set up someone's Ipod and ordered 20 pizza's! It was so fun.

woweeee you've been BUSY! How fantastic you got all that done, you don't really have much left!!! And you sound so CHEERFUL, whats up with THAT? Congratulations, that is a fantastic list of things done!!! You will actually be able to enjoy your day by the sounds of it!!!!

I'm cheerful because I still have several weeks,but as the day draws near the panic will set in. But God willing everything will, be done and wonderful.

First, thank you all for your encouragement. Second I've gotten a few things done. I've planned the guest list, planned the bar, planned the menu, arranged for tables and chairs, booked a bagpiper,booked an officiant, got the favors and bubbles, ordered the cameras,and today I got my dress, veil and jewlery!! So I've gotten a bit done. Tomorrow I plan to check out some suits for DF, look for plastic bar/dinnerware, and try to find some decorations at party city & ac moore. If any of you have any ideas on what I need or can help direct me to where I can get some of the things I need for a REALLY good price any advice would be appreciated!!! TIA.
P.S Someone had also mentioned the invites. We do intend to send them out as a formality, but we have already called all of the guest to inform them of the date since it was so last minute.

I would say try Dollar Tree for a lot of the paper goods, they have a lot of wedding stuff I don't know if its worth it or not I haven't looked at it too much but you can't beat it for a dollar!!!

I'm sure a backyard wedding will be beautiful. Do you work full time. If so, then you will probably have to take off 1 or 2 weeks before, unless you have alot of help. Good luck w/everything.

Me three! FH & I were just talking out this the other day. We've recommended destination wedding or a low key event, such as the route you two have chosen, to three girlfriends. Best of luck !
