It's Macy's Friends and Family - 25% off PLUS 10% off electrics. You can probably get them a registry gift that's worth over $100 for less than $100, KWIM?

Either that or a $100 check.

ETA: If it were a close friend or family member, I'd probably give a higher gift.

So far we've gotten 2 gifts from No's. We got a $100 check from a cousin of FH's dad, and my friend sent us about $80 in gifts off our registry. It was sent before the shower, but I am thining since it was so much, it's a wedding gift.

depends on what you can afford. I would say get something from thier registery plus a little something a little extra that is not on thier registery

I'd say about 75-100

I'd send something off the registry, no more than $100 if you're not super close. We only got one gift from a no, and it was really generous and we were surprised. It was from FH's dad's old girlfriend that he dated when they were little for many years. She still sends them birthday cards and such, but the gift was super unexpected!

IMO $100 is more than generous.

I never thought I was a poor gift giver but some of these numbers make me think I am low balling gifts! Geeez.

we got about 7 checks and one gift with a 'no' response. the checks were mostly for $50 ... one was for $100, and one was $200. The gift was worth about $60.

That's about what we got, too. And many more with no gifts and a no response, which is fine. The gift we got though was about $100- my BOSE outdoor speaker!

I would bump it to $150...trust me, people are just happy to get gifts! We didn't get a lot of gifts from our nos so anything I'm sure will be appreciated and hopefully they will come to yours.

Id give them a gift worth $100.. since you aren't going they arent spending money on you at their wedding and the $100 goes to them.. not just to pay off the meal so I wouldn't be worried about them being cheap.
