I haven't posted in a while but really need some hugs

Two weeks before my wedding, we had to put my 16 year old dog to sleep. He was diagnosed with cancer back in August. We did everything we could to extend his life.. he fought until the end. I was praying that he would make it to my wedding so that he can be in my wedding photos. I am an emotinal mess right now- Life is really amazing!!

Can you have something of his with you when you walk down the aisle? Maybe the tag from his collar pinned inside your dress?

That's a great idea. My mom is superstitious and gave me a red ribbon to wear under my dress for my e party- it's sort of like to keep the 'evil eye' away. His little tag is red... I can use that. Thanks for the suggestion. I think she will be happy to hear this too.

Wow, 16 years, what an amazing life you gave him. I am really so sorry for losing one of your best friends, I wish there was something we could all say to make some of what you're feeling going away but all we can is give you
