I having an ugly hard night girls...need some hugs

OK I am tired. Tired and upset and FH doesn't understand. I hate the wedding at this point. Hate the stress it has brought into our lives and he says Im going to be 'a storm cloud on his day,' and I a am not trying to but Jesus...my contacts were delayed and we got the call that they wont come in on time so I have to wear my glasses on my wedding day which means all my makeup has to change because behind the lenses my eyes get that 'beady' look according to the makeup artist if the're accented the way I want them. I hate my dress. Sure it fits but I still hate it. I am getting my period the week of the wedding and right now I already feel the mood swings (hah obvious right?) and because I am PMSIng, I will be bloated as I am every month and my skin which Ive worked so hard at maintaining is breaking out something awful(something it always does around my period so I was hoping I wouldnt get it around the wedding but the birth control got screwed up)-my chin is littered with pimples now and I scar so easily tI already have dark spots.

Its bad enough I didnt want this big wedding in the first place and all the drama that has happened but now I am going to feel hideous to boot on the day thats supposed to be my happiest and I want to sit and cry and I know I'm being ridiculous because Im marrying a good guy and thats all that should matter but I wanted to feel beautiful and happy at the same time and so far I feel neither.

I think I need hugs girls...

Jenn, nothing anyone says now will make it all better. The PMS will be gone next week, don't let the fact that you are gonna have your period next week ruin it, not worth it! Call your eye doc and explain how your lenses got delayed and see if he can give you a sample pair for your special day. As for your dress, you need to revisit the reasons you fell inlove with it, maybe because you look freakin stunning in it!!! I am 20lbs over where I eer thought I would be and not one pound will probably come off before the wedding, but in the end we are marrying fabulous peple and that is all that matters!! In a garbage bag, in an alley, with no one around, you will still marry the love of your life! Focus your thoughts around the idea of him and you. I bet you feel so much better in the morning!!!

I'm so sorry you're feeling so down. I guess now that the wedding is so close the best thing that you can do is to focus on the good stuff and try not to focus on the bad. I wish I had better words to help you feel better, but I don't....

i know you feel terrible right now, and you have every right to, because i know that you want your big day to be perfect, but trust me when i say no one will notice those things... and your day WILL be perfect, because as much as FH is p*ssing you off right now he still loves you, and you love him, and you are marrying your best friend!

i think we all want to elope at some point during the planning process. kudos to you for getting this far! only 8 more days and it will be over, you can go on your HM and you and your DH can start your new life together.

I'll give the perspective only a former bride could give...

your day will be amazing and beautiful.... and it will be that way NOT becuase of the dress, the eye make-up, your complexion, or your appearance.... it will be beautiful becuase your relationship will be beaming the entire day.

I had my period the whole day, and all the glowing bloat and symptoms that accompany it.... and you know what? I forgot all about that. It didn't make one shred of difference. I also accidentally wore a casual bracelet all day long.... it is barely noticable...

just hug your FH, and re-focus. you'll have the time of your life.... all the people you love will be around you, and will be supporting you.... it will be amazing, and will go by too quickly....

i had the crappiest few weeks before my wedding...zits...pms...DH's OOT family hanging out in my house driving me nuts...and things to do for the wedding up until 1am the nite before...i didn't get to really enjoy any of that time...but i woke up on my wedding day...with the biggest smile on my face...and in the best mood of my life..and it stayed with me all thru my wedding day...and you can see it in each & every picture....i had the day of my life..and it seemed to erase all the stress leading up to it.

It's tough right before...but please know you will get thru it..you will have a wonderful weddding...and will hardly remember ever being upset in the first place...you are getting married!!!! Hang in there!!!

Sounds like youre really having a down moment. Im sorry! It will pass though.

Your eye doc doesn't have any samples there for you, even just one pair? If not, have you ever ordered online?, I do all the time and you can do overnight and see how long it would take to process. As for the rest, since it is stuff that is out of your control try not to really stress too much over it, it will only make it worse. And its not what the day is about anyways, though I know it must be frustrating!!

I'd say go to your eye doctor & tell him that you really really need a pair of contacts for your WEDDING DAY!!!
If not, go to wize eyes & for a really cheap eye exam (hmm... maybe like $18 for a standard checkup) he can check your eyes & he will give you free contact samples.


Also, you will be beautiful, even though you don't feel like it.

I'm all right girls. I am just tired. WiZE eyes is an idea and maybe I can do rush delivery-I dont have a prescription thats valid-expired just last frickin month! BAH! I'll be ok. In the light of morning Im still not thrilled but it will be ok. I'll go stand in a corner of my room and look at my gerbers and think happy thoughts. -chuckles- hanks for listening and making suggestions ladies. I do really appreciate you all. My 07 ladies know the stress!

Look at yourself....you are BEAUTIFUL.

You can borrow a few pairs of contacts with similar subscription...(I'm borrowing my sister's) to get you through.

Makeup artists are for zits & problems. I'm using one just because I have no idea how to take care of the circles under my eyes and my red nose. Look at those celebrity pre & post pics.

Jenn, I'm so sorry to hear you're so down! I know that how you see things is what really matters, but just from an objective source - we've never met - but I think you're beautiful and that your dress looks amazing on you! I know RK kinda f*d things up with not ordering the strapless dress and have tried to fix it, but I really REALLY think it will look amazing on the day of. Sometimes when little things build up one on top of the other, they all just seem to be really horrible, but I think that it will subside on the day you wake up to marry the man of your dreams.

You can definitely get a sample for contacts so try that. And everything else will work itself out so I can only send you lots of but I know things will work out for you!

I am going to redye my hair on Thursday. Thinking of going lighter but not sure. FH has always liked darker hair but Ive been going lighter for the past few months and he says its ok. 'Exotic.' -chuckles- I am thinking of going more caramel-sorta like the pictures of EVa below but less blonde. What do you guys think? Im naturally tan so I figure the whole effect will be bronzey. LOL Some people said YIKES how can you dye your hair right before the wedding but Ive never really disliked my hair when it's dyed. Hair grows. And can't get any worse than the burgandy I have now LOL. Anyway this is the actress whose hair color I am gthinking of imitating because we have the same complexion color pretty much. What do you think?

Jenn, Eva's hair color is fab. I think it will look so pretty on you but here's the thing - you have a strong red color right now - if you try to go to this color, it will take a couple of processes I think - because red is so hard to get rid of. So you might end up with just a lighter red or even a copper color instead of this brownie/bronzey color - is that ok? I like the color you have now, but if you really want to change it, keep this in mind.

First off, I just looked through your pics in your albums and I LOVE everything. Your E-pics, table numbers, card box, dress, veil....want me to keep going? I think everything looks so well planned and beautiful.

Yesi, you have a point. Hmmm I will have to see what they can do because I don't want hem to strip my hair because turns it like straw and red is a stubborn sucker..
