I heard back from MTV :-(

I got the letter today. 'Though you have a great background and we are very impressed by your skills I regretly inform you we can not offer you the job'

I am so crushed. I went on 3 interviews with them. I sent every person a thank you letter, and today I get that. When I saw the envelope I knew. I had my FI open it because I knew what it was.

It was my dream job. Everyone was so laid back, so nice, the office was casual, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was a dream. the hours, the dress, the people.

I have an interview on Tuesday with Barnes and Noble and I am not looking forward to it.

How much rejection can a person take??? 2 days in a row too.

I am sorry. Don't worry, when things like this happen to me I just know that down the line there will be something better. I will pray for you to get a job that you love.

I am really sorry to hear that. You know I really hate companies that tag you along for THREE interviews and then send a rejection letter.

I pray you find another opportunity you want even more.

I was talking to my dad and he told me its tough, everyone has been there but the important thing is to just never give up.

So thats what I am going to do, just not give up.

I have an interview on Tuesday and I plan on knocking their socks off.

Chipp..I'm sorry for your disappointment.

If it's any consolation at all...you're better off. They don't pay well at all, they are constantly laying off...and Viacom has a crappy benefits package. Over all it's just not a good company to work for. Yes it seems cool and it has it's perks here and there (solely based upon what dept. you work for...not everyone gets the fun part of that place), you can and will do much better career wise.

I think something very special is waiting out there for you!!! Good luck hon!

I appreciate your words of kindness. Mistyeyed thanks for the information about the company and knowing that information does make me feel a little better.

I do have an interview with Barnes and Noble and I am looking forward to that interview.
