I have 2 friends that live in Lindenhurst and not to mention, CLM is right there and on the water! I hope everything's okay!!!

It always floods down there, but I think CLM is up high enough, I've never heard of them having any issues

Some areas over there are pretty bad, my brother made out okay but he is across the street from the water......its so sad to see all that flooding, those poor people, gosh its got to be rough for them.

I live in lindy but near sunrise hwy. When its high tide and a storm hits and with the winds the hall's street gets underwater where its iffy to drive through. I know the top part is deff. safe when water hits but i am not sure about the chapel. I am sure they have factored that in when building it and probably there are not major issues.
Just think you can take a boat right up to the door!

It was hit hard but that's not unusual for them. My FIL's live in Lindenhurst, we always pass the lighthouse on Montauk on the way to see them. Their 2 blocks from the water and it does get pretty flooded sometimes but nothing that they can't handle. I've seen it so many times and although it used to freak me it's just expected when it rains there. Don't let it stress you.
