the Garden City Hotel is not taking reservations for '08 and that they are renovating their rooms into coops and selling them. Has anyone heard anything because I was planning on staying there for my June wedding since I am getting married at the Carltun??????

I'm going to get in touch with FBIL, he works at the GCH so he would know. And also, I'm in a BP in a couple weeks and the wedding is at the GCH as well, i'll keep u posted on any new info
well they let me book for Jan 08 and know Andrea booked for July 08 so I know at least until July they are letting people book
I am getting married at The Carltun in October of 2008, and I just reserved my rooms! Hmm... interesting. They didn't say anything about co-op or rennovations- but I will definitely give them a call! Thanks for the tip!
they are letting people book...just regular rooms though. I was going to stay there but in April 2008 they said they do not yet know where they will be renovating-so they can't book any of the suites for then. I ended up booking at Wingate. the bridal suite is HUGE!
