Every day that goes by that we get ZERO responses I get more and more upset! With 8 days to go until the response due date we still have THIRTY-FIVE COUPLES who have not responded! This can't be normal!

don't worry!! Some people forget to send it out and then realize OMG today the response is due... I am sure you will get them soon...

Want to bet! For my e-party I had to call people up to find out what they were doing. They said tehy put the invite away and had forgotten about it!

Oh no, it's normal - I had 65 people who didn't respond by teh RSVP date and still those who I had to CALL!! It's so incredibily rude - there are those who send it back right away and then the straglers! It drove me nuts! Hang in there!

I can I had three people who NEVER RSVP'd to my e-party. I saw one of these girls EVERYDAY at school - finally a few days before the party I said ummm my parents have to tell the restaurant how many people to expect so I need to know if you are coming - her response - 'Oh my cousin's bridal shower is the same day but since I couldn't come I didn't think I needed to RSVP for a no' ummmm what? that makes NO sense. Others just said they forgot to tell me that they were coming - they didn't think it was a big deal.
You think this is frustrating - wait till you get closer when you have already paid when people start telling you that they can no longer come. I ended up going to a wedding on July 4th where they were inviting adult children of family who were not orginally invited because 10 of the grooms work buddies told him two days before the wedding they couldn't attend after RSVPing yes.
Some people are just rude others just don't get it

I had this problem. I was still getting responses 3 and 4 weeks after the RSVP date saying that they were coming and one who responded late didn't even show up to the wedding..

Totally normal.We have 8 people who still haven't responded and we got married in July.

It was for my Engagment party, but we had people that didn't RSVP and they didn't 'think' they had too.. Now. Why would we write RSVP on the darn invite if we didn't want them too.. i have to say it.. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the SAME problem for my e-party and I know I will have the same problem (but magnified) for the wedding. I am already preparing myself to make the 90 phone calls I will probably have to make. I plan to set my RSVP date very far ahead (so I have plenty of time to calm down before I start making calls ) and I will start making calls ON THE RSVP date. People are so rude. Especially in my family. I should seriously consider not even spending the money on stamps because I KNOW half of them aren't going to use it.
