I am having serious baby fever. Anyone else?

I am looking at baby crib sets. I dont want to post any of them b/c i dont want to make this board the baby board or anything.

We had total baby fever during our engagement. Now that we're married we definately want to wait at least a year. This has been a whirlwind year and as much as we're not getting any younger (I'm 35, DH is 40) we need want to be married for a while first.

We want to have kids, but not right away. We will wait a year or two after getting married. We want to have some time for just the two of us first.

i would love to have kids right after we are married, BUT we have to wait a while. if all goes as planned, i will be starting a grad program in school counseling in NC in aug after the wedding. so we will def wait until i finish the program (2yrs) and get a job and a forever home. we will be 22 the summer of our wedding, so probably not till we are 25 or older. for now i am a toddler teacher at a childcare center and i babysit every weekend to get my fix of the kiddies. ~lacey

As much as I want kids and can't wait to have them, I really want to be at a good place in my career first (goal is to be a CFO one day). I know I can't have kids at my current job because that would not be fair to them- I'm never home, work aprrox 55-60 hrs a week.
So once I feel I'm ready to leave I'll start at another company and then start planning for kids. I'm thinking prob. 2-3 after we're married.

I'm right there with you. My niece will be six months next week, and I want to stop sharing and have my own. FH & I can't wait too long after we're married due to our respective ages.

FH wants to wait at least a year before we try - I am already 32! He is going to be 42, but already has 2 kids - he wants more, but wants to enjoy being married for a while... sometimes they just dont get it...

Someone please tell me I wont be too old to conceive...

ME TOO!! I was so excited b/c originally FH and I were going to wait a year or two and now hes talking like 'maybe we should start right away' !!! I was like.... NO WAY?!!?!?

The clock is so ticking... so weird...I never really understood that until now..

I really want to have kids too but first thing, a house! I refuse to have rugrats until Ihave a house. Then my 13 and 14 yr old brothers get to go though all the hell they put my brother and I when we were their age.

me either but i had a miscarrige in may and the baby would of been born on January 5, 2006 and that is my bday.. so now i am starting to get upset! but baby shopping is so much fun!

We're waiting at least a year and a half after the wedding. We have 4 weddings so far next year (not including our own) and I just want to enjoy being married first and travel, because once you have kids your life is no longer your own.

But on the same token, I don't want to wait too long!! We're both in our early 30's and the clock will be ticking shortly after the wedding!!!
