i just...
bought my dress! =0) my parents completely surprised me too and paid for it (at least the downpayment). it was very nice of them esp since me the the fiance had been planning on paying for everything and adjusted the money this month to cover for it. kinda funny though b/c they bought all the things i would have put off/decided not to get/looked around for cheaper versions like the blusher, veil, bra, and slip. i mean, they were actually really reasonable for the bridal industry (the bra was only 40 and it's one of those corset-y ones. i've paid more for less), but i'm still cheap! the only thing that i would have probably not gotten that they bought for me was the blusher - i was kinda on the fence about it and probably would have decided it wasn't worth the extra money, but i think my dad really wanted it (and i do like the idea) so i got it. it was really cute. besides, if i'm reading the invoice right i think it was free? maybe dad bargained with them. =0P
it was so cute though, my dad finally came to see me in it and cried. aw... =0)
if anyone's still looking for a bridal suite, i'd highly recommend bridal suite of bay shore. very professional and helpful staff, really reasonably priced, and they capped my alterations at $100. not bad, and you can't beat the convinience if you live in bay shore, though i'd have to say i'd travel to go there. =0)
i officially have a dress. now we're really starting to get going on this wedding thing! =0) it feels so odd...
