I JUST BID FULL PRICE FOR A HOUSE!

I'm so nervous! DH saw the house a couple of days ago and didn't want to put an offer without me seeing it first. I couldn't go the last two nights and someone beat me to it and put an offer in and the offer was accepted! Well, I just saw the house tonight, loved it, and counteroffered FULL PRICE! I need good luck vibes in a big way. Oh, and I also know nothing about Smithtown. Tell all!

Smithtown is a great area!! The schools are good, location is great I can't see anything to complain about!!!

dont worry. we too wound up bidding full b/c we didnt want to lose this house. we started about 10 grand less and wound up counter offering full.

Back (around 2000) when the housing market quietly began its surge it's currently still riding .. we bid full price within minutes of seeing the house for the first time. The market was competitive at that time .. we saw 1 house that had 15 offers (and counting) .. we didn't want to risk not getting this house .. I absolutely loved it .. and fortunately, everything worked out for us .. a few minutes after our offer was presented .. we were accepted!!
