Same Here! Livin in Sin and LOVING it! We wouldn't (couldn't!) have it any other way.

I love my role in his life as the homemaker. People tried to tell me marriage would not be 'special' if we lived together first, but I don't see it that way. It's special now sharing domestic life with him, and it will be AMAZING doing it as husband and wife.

Before we lived together, the separation was actually HORRIBLE for our relationship!! I lived in Queens and DH lived where we live now in Northport.

I hated travelling out to LI (even though there was nothing to do at my apt in Qns), dragging the dog with me who hated the car, etc & so. I never wanted to drive back in Sunday traffic. Occassionally I made him come get us & bring us back but that would make him cranky.

It really was the biggest thorn in our relationship - I think we fought about other crud during the week because we actually dreaded the weekend BS even though it meant us spending time together.

So while we did end up living together before we were married (actually a month before we were engaged - we were already together for six years), I know your pain & frustration of not.

Keep your chin up - the time will come!
