I was hosing off my car and POP! I see a line across half the windshield!
It's not *awful* but I'm still annoyed!! And of course, I just put the new registration sticker on yesterday!

If you have glass it should be 100% covered not deductible would apply. That stinks!

That happened to me a month or so ago- I was driving under an overpass and a huge droplet of water hit my windshield - pop!
Now, the AC broke and the ceiling fabric is starting to peel. Sadly, my car is becoming one of those people pity - all in the span of 2 months!

If you have full glass insurance... consider it a blessing.
Nothing better than getting a new windshield. Windshields get pitted and dull over time. They will replace the windshield and you will never know the difference.
They will even move your brand new sticker over and you won't notice that either.

It is a total pain.
I do have to say though I have Geico & they had this guy come out to the car & replace it in front of our house. He said they can also goto a train station parking lot or an office, anyplace the car is (although the car has to be unlocked) & they put the registration back on & it took about 30 minutes. All covered by insurance.

Man, that stinks. I remember when my windshield cracked and I didn't have glass coverage. Ended up costing a pretty penny
