i just found out when my surprise shower is...

a coworker came over and told me she couldnt come to my shower next week... I tried to stop her and said it was a surprise... but it was too late...

so now I know it's next week - My mom had told me we had a shower to go to for a girl I used to work with next wee - so I was somewhat suspicious anyway but really wanted to be surprised... oh well...

My surprise was ruined too. Oh well what can you do?! People should just always think its a surprise and not let them ruin it for you.

That stinks... So many people almost slipped with me so I was told last week (they sent me an invitation to my own shower... )

My best friend from Chicago told me she's going to be in Florida all next week so I didn't say anything about the shower and then my mom slipped and told me Kimmy's gonna be there. I think my friend was trying to surprise me.

its funny how hard these things are to keep secret...people have been accidently spilling details about my shower to me all week...

at least this way you can make sure you look nice!!

I think that NY is one of the few places that it's assumed that a shower is going to be a surprise. My BP didn't write surprise on the invites so a bunch of my friends were telling me that they were sorry that they couldn't go. They had no idea that I didn't know about it.

I jsut don't understand why she had the need to tell you that she couldnt make it. doesn't she know that showers are normally supposed to be a surprise!??!!?

oh well, start practicing your surprised face!

i happen to think my shower is this sunday..
and i am going crazy trying to find the right outfit!
i think its too cold to wear a cute dress and also too obvious and i don't want to wear black pants b/c i wear them everyday at work...

I'm sorry. It really stinks when you want it to be a surprise. Mine was this past weekend and no one knew I knew. I still had a great time and was all excited when I walked in. I guess I had to be since I had to act surprised!

Even though I already snooped and found out when and where mine is (nobody knows I know) my FMIL slipped last night and told me it was at my mom's house. Its so hard to keep it a surprise when so many people know about it.

my surprise was ruined too! but you still don't know where it is and all the effort your mom and BP put into it can still be your surprise!

Co Workers ruin EVERYTHING... that happened to my BM a couple of years ago and then the same girl showed up at her wedding with NO GIFT.. the balls on people sometimes
