They may send it before the wedding, so they don't have to worry about it getting lost the day of the wedding, or stolen heaven forbid from the Hall.

I got two of those for my wedding. Apparently, they didn't want it getting lost in the chaos the day of. I found it weird myself.

I've always sent checks/presents before a wedding, so the bride and groom don't need to worry about 1 more thing that day.

I received the same thing today, but the couple attached a note saying they couldn't wait to see us at the wedding.

I think it is a very sweet gesture. It will help us pay a balance for at least one vendor.
