I currently work as a service coordinator for an IT company. Needless to say- it is not a field I am in love with, but it is my only ummm- like- real job experience.

Umm- I am totally willing to travel and work in NYC.

I am sur eI am entitled to unemployment- my whole department was let go. I got a 4 week severance, which is more than I would have expected.

Again, though- TOTALLY willing to work in NYC.

I need more info as to what you're looking to do - or what you were previously doing.

I'm pretty sure my friend's mother who currently works for Goldman does something along the same lines. She coordinates the transfers of the PBX (phones/voicemail) lines and such, but I'm sure there's something similar for IT.

That suckks. Too bad it isn't summer, then you could do some tanning while looking for a job and getting severence. That is my dream. Yes I dream big.

That is the FIRST thing I said!

To clarify- I have no IT tecnical knowledge.
I work as a scheduling coordinator on a call center for an IT company. Customers and account managers open tickets needing IT work done, and I coordinate the engineer to go onsite. I also collect their work orders, and get the call ready for the billing department to invoice (T&M based work).

My GOD that sounds lame.

I do not need ot stay in this industry- but it really is my only practical job experience. I also have experience as a sales rep (NO commisions!!!), and in customer service, and in the hospitatlity industry. Admin work- anything is fine- I'm a willing and fast learner.
