Re: I just had...
awww...I had two removed at a time (all 4 gone now). To stop the bleeding, all you can do is put cottonballs in your mouth. DON'T drink anything because it causes your gums to bleed more. And, I hope you took off of work tomorrow, b/c it will hurt all weekend.

Re: I just had...
yuck! I actually have to get all 4 removed soon as well. I am not looking forward to it AT ALL! Did any of you get knocked out completely for the wisdom tooth removal, because that is probably what I will have to do!

Re: I just had...
oh no!!! I do not want to do this! You know, I wonder, what is the point of wisdom teeth even growing in at all when most people need to get them removed anyway? It is also very expensive I hear, so it makes no sense to me!

Re: I just had...
I had all 4 pulled at the same time too. All I had was novocaine, I was awake the whole time. The whole thing only took like 10 minutes. The bleeding probably didn't stop until the next day, just make sure to keep changing the gauze in your mouth. Don't use cotton balls, use sterile medical gauze (the 2x2 size works well, just fold it once or twice.) The pain wasn't too bad, it was tolerable with the prescription ibrupofen. I tried the vicodin but it made me feel funny. The pain went away mostly in about 3 days and totally within a week. I went to the Bronx Zoo the next day.
