My co-workers gave me the nicest baby shower! I am so touched by their generosity. Since there was practically nothing left on my registry, they had a challenge ahead of them as far as gift giving, and I got so many wonderful unexpected things!
I got LOTS of really cute outfits, books, CASES upon CASES of diapers and wipes, and gift certificates to:
Denny's (one of my favorite children's stores! ) Babies R Us Barnes and Noble Cactus Salon for a day of relaxation and a huge one to Banana Republic for post preggo clothes.
I can't stop smiling... I'm really feeling the love at my job.

That is so great. My co-workers will not even send a card when I have my baby- they are just not very giving people. BUT Scott will have a huge work shower, just like with our wedding.

My boss is great to work for and I have about 4 co-workers who I would consider that I am friendly with BUT when I got married I didn't even get a card from anyone! They never celebrate birthdays or other special days with each other. I am one of the few people who brings the admin. a gift for admin. day. I think I am the ONLY person who gives my boss a card for boss's day. So when the baby comes I highly doubt I will even get a card. But my boss is very flexiable with my time, allows me to work from home and has no problems when I need extra time off. So how can I complain?

I loved all of the BRU gift cards I received at my shower!! We're still using them for diapers and formula!!
