You all know I have been contemplating Fri or Sun, given I could not afford Oheka on a Sat and given I am still considering having my reception there. Well this weekend I went out with a friend of mine who turned around to me and said she never heard of anyone getting married on a Fri or Sun. She said how could you not get married on a Sat, afterall she is attending a wedding in Fla and even they are having it on a Sat. She also said she wouldn't be able to be prepared for a Fri wed given she needs to spend the entire day getting ready - salon, make-up.
Then my cousin says to me why aren't you having it at Russo's in Queens. Queens is a lot easier for ppl to attend given the church is in Bklyn and a lot of ppl are old and can't drive. She suggested maybe I could rent a bus to transport everyone. And she commented that she would never do a Fri wedding. ARRGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, you cant please everyone all the time. I know we went through the same dilemma. But lucked out and found Vanderbilt Mansion free on a Saturday night in Oct. But anyway - tell your friend that wait until she has to shell out thousands of dollars before making the bold statement of never wedding on a friday. Or better yet, ask her for a big donation to your wedding fund.

My sister asked me the same question(getting married on sunday) she turned her nose up as if I insulted her- people have no common sense- My FMIL pulls my FH to the side and told him that SHE WANTS his 3 sisters in my bridal party- I coudnt believe her balls
