I just have to say.....

that LIW totally rocks The Knot!!! I have been finding myself on this site more frequently.

I am fairly new to this site and having been mainly on The Knot. I came to this site and was not used to the format -- it seemed very busy. But now that I'm on here, the feedback from the members here is great!!!!

I never formally introduced myself......I got engaged in July 2004. At that time, I had been dating my FH for 4 years. Believe it or not, we had been neighbors (one house separates ours) for about 4 years. But we never met each other and ending up meeting at a wedding of another neighbor on our block! I guess it was meant to be.

I look forward to chatting with all of you and can see that everyone is really friendly and eager to help!!

This site is invaluable, and each post gets a whole lot more replies than an average knot post. plus, attaching pics is so much easier here than putting them in the bio!!!

you will be addicted in no time....

Hi...I have to completly agree with you about the Knot and LIW format. I used to be on the Knot all the time and now I find myself on LIW ALL the time! Congrats and happy planning!!!

I actually haven't set a date yet...but when I opened my account, I wasn't able to put 'unknown' as an option for my wedding date. I do plan to get married in '06. But first, I have to find the right place!!

Yes, LIW is the best! I only use The Knot's resources like the check list, the photos, and the stories they run. I never chat on there...the girls just don't seem friendly or helpful to me.
