I Just Humiliated FH

We're at my FMIL's for Thanksgiving Dinner. Every single time I get a new perfume, his mom runs out and buys the EXACT same one. I swear. She does this with his brother's gf also. So she said 'What perfume is that? I need to go buy it. I love it!' I tell her Vera Wang and lie and say 'I think it's called Princess' - it's not that Vera.

Then I say 'Why do you always have to smell like me?' She said she didn't think it was bad to smell like me. I said 'Well, when your son is making love to me - I don't want him smelling YOU!'

Ouch. I know,I'm a shocking beotch. He cried 'That's it! The wedding is off!' and ran away. Ha ha!

u have a point though...

i took FMIL's face cream bc i was so dry.. and FH made me wash my face.. and sniffed me until it was gone...

bc i smelled liek 'mommy' and it FEAKED HIM OUT!

take it as a compliment, its better than a FMIL trying to put you down...i don't think she does it to copy you some people are just like that, they see something they like and they'll ask Ooo what is that and want to get it too. Ive done it before, ive done it many times where someone has a lipgloss i like and ill ask what it is, even with me ppl had asked me a couple of times and many wear it now too, i took it as a compliment.


ALso i like to keep things in good relations, you have to deal with IL's for the rest of your life.

Personally if FH EVER spoke to my parents like that i would've flipped out, it wouldn't have been me just crying or humiliated but if he came to my house and disrespected my own parents in their house it would not end well

We laughed. Look his mom once asked us if we had ever heard of shaving pubes - she had heard about it on the radio. He died when she brought it up. I tell it like it is!

thats funny..i could never say something like that

i was telling FH about cheesy honeymoon places ( like the poconos) and i was on speakerphone with him and his mom and i said that i wanted to tell him something that i knew he would get excited for but not on speaker...she insisted and was like 'were family..come one..' so i said you dont wanna hear it and she asked again so i said..ok..'they have mirros on the headboard'..lol

she was like..maybe i didnt want to hear that

it was too funny

He's been fine all night. He knows to expect anything when I'm around.

Him and his mom know I'm a major PITA.

He can't wait to TELL ON ME though. He tells my best friend every time I do something 'bad' ... It's like understood that I'm a handful and do things like insert foot in mouth or say something blunt and p*ss people off. He loves telling everyone he can that I got all these LIW girls mad with a comment once. He also enjoyed that all you girls took his side. Ha ha!

My cousin can't believe he's still with me. Like on 4th of July I made a comment about how he goes through a ton of toilet paper. I didn't even think it was that bad, she was like 'My husband would divorce me if I told my family that.' Oops

How is FH handleing it now? Guess it depends on the realtionship you have with your FMIL.
