I just jinxed my wedding

Ok I have to be the stupidest person in the world. I was just looking at the post of my hair trial and turned around to Fh and said ' look at how many posts I got' and began to scroll through. Stupid me forgot that I had posted a picture of my dress!!!!!!!!!!!! As soon as I realized it I immediately scrolled faster. Fh swears up and down he didn't see it and was looking at the avatar pics as I was scrolling. But I feel like I have put a jinx on the wedding. AhHhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh and another thing, the picture of the dress is so small, you cant see a lot of the details, and knowing men they dont remember things like that anyways

you are just fine!!! fh was with me when i bought my dress!! how long have you lived together? i look at it this way, i have been living w/fh for 2 years. he is my best friend and my only family. i let him see everything!!

1. He didn't see it
2. You scrolled fast, so if he did see, he didn't see the details (knowing men, all he probably saw was a pic of something white, possibly a dress!)
3. If he realized it was your dress, he won't remember it in time for wedding.
4. I bet that the dress will look drastically different on you than it did on the pic -- and after all, it's the bride in all her glory that the groom should not really see - everything else falls short of that!

I wouldn't worry about putting a jinx on your wedding. Even if he saw the picture - he might not even have realized it was you in your dress. You did mention you were scrolling pretty fast. I'm sure a quick glimpse would not be enough to feel weird about.

No jinx. If your FI is anything like mine he would have seen something white in a picture, and if he thought it might be your dress he would look away. He also won't remember it by the time you get married and it will look SO much better on you than on the model in the small picture!

i don't believe in jinxes your wedding will be PERFECT whether he saw the dress or not!!!!!!!! though it doesn't sound like he did. even if he did, he's a MAN - i'm sure he processed nothing other than that it's long and white please don't worry!!!!

Jinx-schminx.....

I thought he whole 'not seeing the dress' thing stems from when marriages were arranged and the wedding day was the grooms first time seeing the bride (I'm open to corrections though). Now it's just a tradition.

Lets look at this logically though.... even if he sat and studied your dress online - and memorized every detail, do you REALLY believe that this will curse your wedding day? I know you don't.

I let people try on my engagement ring all the time. My dear friend told me it's bad luck for the marriage. I say BULLSH!T - I let people try on my ring because it's beautiful and I feel that them trying it on to admire it is GOOD luck (if any there's any luck involved).

NOTHING -not silly traditions, nor anyones beliefs are going to change the fact that you and your FI have pledged to love one another forever....

i had to go back to the thread to see it....I can barely see it and i'm looking at it on purpose!!

don't worry you didn't jinx anything. ray opened a picture of me that was on the desktop and i was in my dress and veil and when he realized what it was he closed it immediately. all he remembers is 'white'

nothing is jinxed! you'll be fine lol

You still love each other? NO JINX. There is no jinx in the world strong enough to break the bond of love. Relax. By the way, your hair trial and makeup trial pics are very very pretty.
