I really do need to shut up from time to time. Why oh why do I think that every time I have an opinion someone needs to hear it? I just constantly insert my big square fred flintstone feet into my mouth!!!

I am posting this here because I have read other conversations about diarrhea of the mouth. I have a case - no, actually I have a chronic case. Maybe I just need some chronic. What is chronic? Weed? I don't know, I just need to stop talking.

It's not a big deal, not even a story to tell really. I just always want to 'help.' Like I know everything!!! I just have thoughts, opinions, ideas, ways that I THINK will improve things. NO ONE CARES WHAT I THINK!! Well, at least most people don't.

Would someone please shut me up!!!

Nothing wrong with wanting to offer an opinion, an experience, an anecdote to help someone out. That's kind.

But listening is an art and not everyone has come close to mastering it.

Don't be so hard on yourself.

Thanks ladies - I am hard on myself - constantly, but it felt better to get it out rather than just continue to say it to myself over and over again then snap at my man for no reason...

Personally, I don't mind when someone offers an opinion - even if I didn't ask for it - as long as they don't get all self-righteous on me...

Definitely don't be so hard on yourself - there are worse things then having diarrhea of the mouth. You could have herpes of the mouth.

I haven't gotten that impression here. You may be overthinking it too much. You can guage that better in a verbal conversation by reading people's body language and expressions. If you think you're boring them, wind down your talking to give them a chance to talk.

I guess you could do the same here. If you post and no one answers or you are usually the last person to post on a thread (threadkiller) then maybe that might be a sign.

NWR has been the only place I've found where y'all don't mind my own ramblings. But I always reread my posts before I click the Post Reply button. And take out a sentence here and there.

I also have not gotten that impression from you here

I feel the need to mention that I am a major threadkiller, tho..so maybe I need to be reevaluating myself
