I just need to vent

I seriously wish I didn't know about my bridal shower. My mom is driving me crazy with stuff that she wants to do that I don't like and don't want period. BUT I don't say anything anymore because all she does is disagree with me. That's not really my issue.

My major issue is my mom and my FMIL opinions regarding the shower. The both of them have different ideas for a shower. Yesterday they went to do bridal shower stuff together. FMIL then proceeds to tell me after that she doesn't like the stuff my mom is doing and she shouldn't be spending on this and that blah blah blah. NOW my mom just came into my room to say that she doesn't like the ideas that FMIL is telling her. I just don't understand why they need to tell me. If they both have issues then tell it to each other not me!!! I don't want to listen to it!!!! Im pms-ing and my mom can't seem to understand why I look fustrated

im going through the same thing right now only with the wedding...my mom and FMIL practically hate each other and me and FH are in the middle....they disagreed about EVERYTHING regarding the shower as well, but some of that was kept from me until afterwards since the shower was a surprise...hopefully it will all get better after the wedding! weddings make people CRAZY!!!!

I agree...they shouldn't be saying anything to you! I'm guessing you're in on the planning and it's not a surprise?

TRUST me I feel your pain except in my case it was my MOH and FSIL/BM that were hating on each other in the planning of my shower! I really didn't know anything that was going on (b/c I demanded that of them) until AFTER the shower. Now I know the full story and it turns out that my FSIL totally took over and my MOH essentially did NOTHING for my shower. I am still keeping quiet about what I know. I don't hate anyone and I can see both sides of their stories. Now my new anxiety is that they're going to ruin the RD and my wedding day b/c they can't stand each other! I am going to be living on Xanax til the wedding I swear!
