This vent is stupid, I know it is...but I really need to let it out. As I have posted a few months before, my best friend and matron of honor is having a baby this August and I could not be happier for her. I ran out and bought her a million onesies and all that good stuff. I right away asked her little sister what I can do to help with the shower. I asked like no joke 6 times. The answer I got was 'sure sure, let me get back to you'. OK..waiting waiting...Come this past monday, I get the shower invite in the mail! I looked at it like oh ok just the sisters are going to host it, that's cool, I understand. Oh no ...after the sisters' name...comes my friend's other best friend...the one they like 'better'. I was so hurt by this that I started to cry. Now, I can't say anything to start drama because that would be awful and there was in law drama at her bridal shower. I am just really upset that I can't do anything. I am not asking for my name to be in lights or anything but this one 'friend' is well known to be a not nice word when she doesn't get her way. Ugh..ok I guess that's it..I just needed to type it...

well there ya go. they are closer. theres not much u can do about it sweety. think of it as less stress for u lol.. just go as a guest and enjoy watching that friend run around like a maniac while u sit with ur pregger friend enjoying the day

That stinks so much I would be hurt as well. It s u cks when you try to be nice and go out of your way for someone, and they don't appreciate it. Been there so many times.

Have to agree here. Dont worry about it. You have enough stuff of your own going on with wedding planning. I would be hurt but maybe let your friend know that you triedto help but weren't included (after the shower)

Maybe they felt that since you are planning a wedding it would be too much burden?
they also may have thought they were doing you a favor since u have a wedding a plan and everything - just try not to take it personal I'm sure it wasn't intentionally to hurt u or anything like that...
