If this is true, what do you think of these choices?

Emme....why not Emma? Maybe because in Spanish the e is pronounced eh so it would be more like Emmeh????

lol i know three people who have dogs named max. imo, it's not for me

it was funny- a friend of ours was pregnant and FH was like 'they better not take the name MAX'

Their last name is Steele so i dont think they would name their kid Max Steele..its a super hero/cartoon guy...lol

i know this will sound stupid, but she shouldn't have name him Max....xtina took it already...they are both celebrities so it's kind of like naming your kids the same name as your neice or nephew...i know that makes no sense, but somehow in my brain it does

I have a girl in my class called Emme short for Emily. I actually like the name. Well this is a sweet girl. Any of you teachers out there may understand just how hard it is with names. What happens is that we begin to associate certain names with a particular kid. The name Michael was ruined for me the first year I taught. I will never be able to use that name there are a few others also like that unfortunately Max included

Ugh I know..there are some names now that make me cringe!

Max is my dog's name. Nice name though.

Emme....not spanish at all...Emma would've been easier to pronounce in spanish...I think Emme is just Emme.

Max is becomming soo popular now my aunt just named my little cousin that. FH's mom told me that she wanted to name him Max too, but instead he took his fathers first name. IMO Maximilian is too much in this day of age.

OMG!!! It's so true. I hate to admit it but there have been years where I have loved a certain name and then I get a child and I associate that name with him. But I have also grown to love certain names after having a student too.
