I just realized.....

After reading the posts and experiences on this board, it hit me that I have taken my ability to get pregnant for granted. I got pregnant without even trying.... I screwed up with the pill and BAM! - a baby's on the way.

At first I was not thrilled about being pg bc we were only married a month and wanted to wait 2yrs. But with 4 weeks to go, I have come to realize that I got the greatest gift and opportunity that a person can recieve. I promise never to take it for granted.

It never dawned on me that so many couples have trouble conceiving or the lengths that women go to track their cycles. After reading the experiences of those having trouble, I can't image going through the emotional rollercoasters that many of you endure.

Although I don't know any of you personally, I want you to know that feel your pain and you have my support. I think you ladies are so strong. I pray that one day you will get the same opportunity that I have been given.

We're having a little boy! He has no first name yet, but we know the middle name is Alexander.
