We were trying to avoid having a wedding on Memorial Day weekend...and today i found out that unfortunately it would be on that weekend…. I hope people can make it….

oh girl please!! People who care WILL be there as long as you give them some notice. Our wedding in ON Memorial Day and sooo many people are excited to attend. It also helped that we announced our date a year prior at our eparty and had STDs made. But even w/ out that the guests that really want to be there will make a way

i dont worry about noone showing up for our wedding. we sent out std's this past summer so guests have plenty of time to decide if theyd rather be at my wedding or spending their memorial day weekend elsewhere.

My Aunt is getting married on memorial day weekend too! Everyone will make it! I personnally love the idea, Hey mine falls on the 4th of July, dont be worried about it!

The important people will be there! Mine is Labor day weekend and I thought the same thing... All it means is that people have 1 extra day on their weekend. No one really makes plans for Memorial/Labor day that far in advance- and as long as they know about your wedding they won't make plans at all!

I am getting married the day before memorial day... 5/25/08.. and I love the date and that people will be off the next day! it can be a whole weekend event!! :)
i sent STD's 2 months ago to give everybody a heads up!
