Things went extremely well Thanks to all of you that lent your support. I have to have my conference still, but the notes he left for me were all positive! Thanks again!

UGH... 7th grade is such a hard age. I teach high school and they can be bad enough but 7th graders are totally crazy... their hormones are kicking in and they are on a roller coaster ride, especially the boys... on any given day you have no idea how they will be. Add to that all of the family issues and ADHD. I applaud you.

I'm assuming you are a fairly new teacher. Why do they give the most inexperienced teachers the worst kids? They wouldn't do that in any other job.

If you ever need to vent about school, I'm here. I've been teaching for 11 years.

I teach first grade, and what I tell my students is that the Principal is coming to observe THEM because they have heard that they are such GREAT students. Of course, if they see her writing, she is just making a 'list' of all the students she sees misbehaving. ha.
This works with the little guys, and they have been great every time! Of course, I always give them treats as well.
