So i get a call saying that i won some trip, and a 500 gift card etc, same stuff that i read on here. That i was selected from a drawing last night at the showcase...yea me and everyother bride there.
SO i let her do the whole speech, making sure it matches up with all the other 08 girl's stories ive been reading...and then
i tell her that i know this is a scam, and that i really didnt win anything and how her 90 minutes product showcase is really trying to get me to buy expensive cookware i dont need. cause i dont cook!!!!
I love these telemarketers lol they just make me laugh, cause they think im so Gullible!!!

Ha ha ha I told them off to. They called me awhile ago and said I won and to go to some hotel to collect mypricz. well I didn't go and then they called me a few weeks later but said a different company name. and I had remembered when I looked them up that they were also associated with that name so I told the lady that I had gotten a call from the other comapny and i knew it was a scam....well she didn't even let me finish and she hung up....i never got a call from them again!!!

My best friend is VERY gullable and she fell for this. She went and spent $3000!!! The next day her co-workers told her that she was totally scammed and she got really upset. Thankfully, she found out that by NYS law she had 3 days to cancel and get all of her money back!! I So I'm glad that you told them off!!!

Wow I cant believe that there are so many scammers! Are we that easy of a target just because we are not married yet and we may be looking for a free something?
I havent gotten any calls but Nicole gave me some great advice the other day...give them the wrong address. Yeah so 1 block away from my house if there is house #150 they are getting everything about weddings. I feel bad about wasting all that paper.
Anyway if a telemarketer calls I usually tell them to hold on and them I put the phone down and walk away. Sometimes I ask how much they enjoy their job and if they are really satisfied with their lives calling and bothering gpeople during dinner. I know they are trying to make a living but lets be honest i get annoyed especially because I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

Good for you!! i didnt get that call today but I did have a missed call from a number I didnt know so maybe that was them from the expo last night!

HAHAHA!! good for you! i didn't have the guts to tell them off, so i just never showed up. they call every once in a while and i just say 'no thanks'.

I got the same call from a lady name Joanne I beleive. She had a scratchy voice. She keeps on calling me. Good for you that you gave them a piece of your mind.

She bought a complete set of pots and pans, bakeware and some other kitchen stuff. It really wasn't a whole lot of stuff...just really expensive.
