i just took favors out of my budget

All my friends and family keep saying not to bother.

FHs family may disagree but $500 just came off my budget.

I may just get cake boxes so people can take stuff home from the sorta mini viennesse hr.

I hate favors so I said right from the beginning I don't want them.

but FH has been really into making beer/wine. Him and his BM are trying to convince me to let them make beer for the wedding ...and they're willing to let me design the labels.

Why not just make a $100 donation in honor of your guests and then get cards printed up from Vista Print. You can cards real cheap like $20 for $150.

I hate favors as well but I know a lot of people might be upset that that you didn't think of them...but do whatever you want.

haha, i'm jewish and i've heard this too. i've actually never been to a jewish wedding and had a favor with the exception of one (the bride was half christian tho)

my sister told me no favors at a jewish wedding and i'm not complaining. one less thing to factor into the budget

Im so proud of myself lol! Although 27k is insane.

Bad news. I REALLY want a photobooth. Mom and FH think its STUPID. Meh.

I want a photobooth SO bad. they look so fun.

I think traditional favors are kinda a thing of the past. Unless you're spending a significant amount of money on them (i.e getting nice ones), I don't think they're worth it.

However, if you're going to do them, put whatever it is in some sort of colored organza bag that matches your colors so you add some decor at the same time.

We are not purchasing favors per say. We added a carnival cart to the end of our reception (popcorn, candy apples, pretzels and cotton candy) we are getting bags so people can take them home.

I never used any favors that I recieved from weddings. I do not think anyone would miss them.

I agree with the favors.

I think FH and I are going to do a small donation or something like that. We've gotten many favors that are either still in the box it came in (can't figure out what to do with it) or have been thrown out. No sense in wasting the money.
