I know I know...I just planned a wedding BUT question

if you know the color the BP is wearing, is it WRONG to wear a like color?

they are wearing 'pomegranate' but I keep fallin in love with red dresses...can I still wear one, if I keep it short and sweet (their dresses are long)..the only similarity is the color...is that still a NO NO...

oh and PS...can I wear a dress I bought at Forever 21 to a wedding???

I think it's fine. The bride isn't going to notice what you're wearing unless you dressreally inappropriately (trashy ) or wear white.

And re: forever 21 - yes, you can wear it.

Yes you can.
1. Red is such a popular color for evening type dresses. It's not like they are wearing teal and you decided you want to wear the same color. (no offense to the color teal)

2. If it was white you wanted to wear then NO
3. Yes to Forever 21. You can accessorize it and no one will be the wiser.

I can't post pics from the website. I am going there at lunch to try some on...I didn't buy it yet b/c I was afraid of the whole 'red' issue.

i personally wouldnt wear the red dress to the wedding. IMO

You can wear any color you want. Someone asked me if they could wear a color similar to my BMs. I really didnt care, but I did appreciate her asking.

What if you had your bridesmaids in black? Lots of people do that. Can you imagine how many people wear black?

It didn't upset me but it pissed off quite a bit of her family and my DH.

I don't think it would be a big deal... My BMs wore brown which is a pretty popular color these days and one of my guests wore a brown dress. I didn't mind.

And yes, you can wear a dress from F21 to a wedding... I did. Funny part, the dress cost $20 and the shoes I wore with it cost $75! Go figure?!
