What is the procedure for getting off the pill if you want to get pregnant. Totally not planning on trying for a while, but just was curious....

Ok, this I have checked out, just stop taking them!!! They would like you to be off of them for about 3 months and then TTC but my friend got pregnant after one month. I would wait until you are finished with your pack and then just not start taking them again when you are ready to stop them. Also, start taking prenatal vitamins now it is never too early

My doctor said you do not have to wait three months (or at all) before trying. I do know of friends who were told to wait, so its best to ask your dr.'s opinion. People have gotten pregnant on the pill and had healthy babies. I know of 2! Definitely take prenatal vitamins for a month before you start trying.
