my mom and i were just talking about this today. i think it depends on where we have it. i dont wanna spend more than 40 or 50 pp. but the hard part is going to be finding a place cuz both of us are drawing blanks right now

Maybe look into Tutto Pazzo in Huntington, I will try to think of more because for our E-PArty I had a huge list of places in the Huntington area and now that is the only one I can think of!

I love that place! I did think of having it there but then we decided we didn't want to do italian food. Lombardi's (our reception) is all really good italian food so we're looking for something different

and i'm looking for places from huntington all the way out towards port jeff...doesnt matter. we thought of danfords maybe but its expensive i think

I just thought of Mill Pond in Centerport, they have great food, I wonder if they do RD?

mexican is a nice idea...its different than your typical italian..i thought of something like that as well. im just afraid you're gonna have a few people who hate it and are miserable with nothing to eat

as for the bar...i dont want to do open bar..i just want beer and wine....its a RD, so i dont think they need hard liquor. most RD's ive been to it was beer and wine and if you want liquor then you pay yourself

With the mexican i will get a census from everyone but there are always quesidillas or tacos and you can't really go wrong with that

ITA with you with the beer and wine and def if i can't get a good deal with the open bar i am not going over my budget with that

I will have 17 as well...plus whoever is at the church. FMIL offered to pay for the dinner. I'm think of La Piazza, a Italian place in Merrick down the road from the church. I think wine and beer is totally appropriate.
