I'm using oksana. go to makeupbyoksana.com Her price list is on her website-it varies depending on how many people are doing their makeup. Click on contact on her site- fill out an inquiry sheet and she will respond to you by email if she is available. You can set up a trial for $50 then reserve her for $20. She works with Jen the Hair Genie if you need hair too. Good luck! Get cracking with your reservations on an artist :)

Nic, Jacqueline Nicole is excellent. I booked her on the spot. She does airbrushing and regular. I think for regular it cost 120 and 150 for airbrush. She is really good at what she does. She is a vender here, Pretty me.

Is Kim Clarke's contact info on here? I'm a big fan of Prescriptives makeup. Does she use Prescriptives? Not that I'm against using other brands, whatever works best, but I do use a lot of Prescriptives myself. Or maybe I'll visit there after Christmas when things calm down...

I am using Anne DeMarco of Anne DeMarco Costmetics in Woodbury. Her prices for airbrushing at the salon is $125 and for her to come to your home the day of, you need 3 peopl, including yourself and she charges $250 for airbrushing and $100 for traditional. Her price is a bit steep than other makeup artists but she is excellent and also does models. Here is some info about her if you are interested: http://www.rougemakeupstudio.com/index.html
It says that she is located in NYC but she also works out of a salon in Woodbury.

A few of us did All For You Day Spa in Holtsville. You can check out my review, but they did me in 'barely there' makeup because I never wear makeup. In my consults before the big day I said I didn't want anything dramatic and they were awesome!!!!! My hair and makeup cost me $120 TOTAL!!! And they made me feel so at ease on the day of!!!!!!!!!!

wow are they all this much?
I believe she is comparable to the others. I wish I would not have wanted to go the cheaper route. I had a trial with someone else that was recommended by a makeup artist and the trial was horrendous. It's the worst $50 I ever spent.
ETA: I'll be spending either $130 or $145 depending on the amount of girls that want to get their makeup done. Honestly, I don't think that $60 for BM's is expensive. I've paid more.
