I feel like there is so much more to do but this is what weI have done so far:
1. booked Ceremony 2.Booked reception 3. Booked DJ 4. Booked DOC (thanks to TWOTY!! ) 5. Bought my dress 6. picked BM dresses 7. booked photo & video 8. Decided on Favors (pear vodka & cocktail shaker) 9. Booked Cantor 10. picked bo-ks have to order 11. currently working on July 07 party to invite BP 12. BP newsletters 13. sent STD's 14. FH decided on HM location we'll book once flights are released 15. have our toasting flutes (gift) 16 Registered 17. As of 1-28-07 I know carry a notepad to jot down ideas for songs, (thanks BOTW- Cherish-MEG) 18. booked ceremony music 19. booked hotel 20. booked wedding weekend activities 21.ordered chuppa 22. ordered ketubah 23.bought my dress 24. bought my veil 25. booked hair & make up 26.completed diy crystal cake topper 27. have guestbook
What am I forgetting at this point.?

I think the most important things to book right away are the church (ceremony place) and the RH.
I feel a tad behind as well..so far we booked
RH Church DJ Photo/Video
I called limo companies to get quotes, but plan to call more.
I want to look at flowers come the spring time.
I have a lot of ideas for DIY projects, such as place cards, favors, new STD Magnets.

OMG you've done sooo much!! I feel soo behind. Your wedding is AFTER mine and I don't even have the RH booked yet. I wanted to do it already but arghhh family is slowing me down everyone's like you have soo much time. They don't understand!

This is what we have done so far.
Booked Church Booked RH Booked Band Booked Photgrapher/ Video Have STD ready to be mailed BP dresses picked out
Next is Limos and Florist
And I am searching for my dress. I think I know which one I want.
And I already have Favors picked out.
And decided on HM.

ok so far church hall DJ photo/video florist limos dress with veil and tiara makeup hair
next: honeymoon - i found a TA but she is going to call me when I can book the flights BM dresses - picked them out just want to make sure everyone likes them! Jr BM dresses, FG dresses starting to look at favors/invites

That's all I've done but I have time. Right now I'm going to start working out (that went out the window with the holidays!) and just concentrating in school. I have a week for spring break and two weeks off in May (I'm taking a summer course) so I might get something done then. I'll start trying on dresses this summer. I don't want to look at florists until I have my dress and BM dresses picked out.

Wow OMG I Feel really behind and here I thought I was right on track and that I still have time to breathe....LoL. I guess there is no time for that.
All we have done is: -picked the date -booked the church ceremony (yesterday!)
We have found the RH we want and are totally in love with we are planning to book that this coming weekend! I have also been looking at BM and MOH dresses and I think we have that too. We just have to go start looking for them. I might just get them made. I should probably start looking for my dress now right? I found some pictures of dresses that I LOVE...i just thought it was TOO early to even start going to stores!
Am I REALLY that behind! OMG. I need to get a move on then!

I don't think your far behind, Some plan a wedding in less than a year. We chose a popular date so we set a goal of booking all major vendors by Valentine's day. We also hope to purchase a next March, so I want to have all the DIY (that I can) completed by January 1, 2008. Just so it's less stressful for us.
Sorry If I sent you to panic mode , I have posted my goals before & most of the other are aware of them. so sorry I should have stated them again in my 1st post on this thread.

What about making a list of songs you'd like played at the reception and the after party. Umm you can always get a head start and make a preliminary seating chart. Look at BP gifts and parent gifts. Look into HM spots

dont laugh, but i have a daily planner in my bag and i do that.. not just for wedding songs though, i do it for my ipod

I have done 1. Booked Site 2. Booked florist 3. Booked DJ- just happened 2 days ago. :) 4. In process of booking photogrpaher 5. Asked bridemaids 6. Have dress- but its my grandmas- so i still need to do all the details.
We have a ways to go! But I think its comming along nicely.

In the process of looking at bridesmaids dresses, choosing a color theme, and picking a desgin for our STD. I just kind of need a break and will probably start booking again in April.

I don't think you are far behind if you haven't booked much yet. I dont' think it's a good idea to purchase a dress this early. Styles change and so do our bodies. I plan on waiting till about a year before I even think about purchasing a dress. The next thing I have planned is an engagement party and STD's. After that I will book the band and florist. From what I've heard it's very important to space out and enjoy the planning or else you'll feel burnt and go through withdrawl. Image having a year left before your wedding and having nothing to do. I love the planning, and enjoying that I'm not in a rush. Each person has their own way of planning, so never feel like you are behind.

1.booked ceremony/reception hall 2.Set apt with DJ to sign contract 3.Set apt with Photographer to sign contract 4.Set 'e' party date 5.Ordered STD'S 6.Picked out all decorations for 'e' party 7.Picked out everything to order for favors and decoration for reception 8.Picked out Inventitions 9.Picked out dress but havent tried it on yet 10.Picked date to start mt diet(this Monday) 11.Picked out all special songs 12.Picked out HM spot and dad is booking it
