When a vendor is the 'owner' of the company - is tipping necessary? I guess I just dont see why I would pay someone thousands of dollars as the owner and then tip them...hmmm....but i dont want to be cheap either...

The rule of thumb is that if the vendor is the owner, tipping is not necessary (since they're getting all the money).
