My parents keep asking me what I want for christmas (other than gift certificates or money) and I have NO clue!!!! My mom wants to give me a couple of GIFTS and I really have no idea what to tell her . . .AGHH!!!
I have had the same issue with my mom for many years now...
one year she did come up with a great idea...a check written out to my Student Loan company....

Re: I know this sounds SO silly but . . .
My mother asks all the time and when I used to give her suggestions she would roll her eyes at me and say I dont want to get you that.
So now she is on her own which means a barnes and noble gift card and then some other obscure gift she would buy that matches (or be identical to) something she gets my sister.

maybe something off your registry that you could use now?

If they are paying for part or all of the wedding...and you don't mind...you can say 'don't worry about Christmas this year, you're doing enough'.
I told that to my dad but he still wants to get me something so I said OK but nothing big.
If you really do find you want/need something, maybe something off your registry?

I usually tell my mom to just be patient until I figure out what i want -
That is how i bought a pair of leather boots and my leather jacket ....
We have this unspoken agreement - presetns are given when they are come across *lol*

That is basically our deal Attica
As for registry, mom won't do that- wants to give me my owm personal gifts- nothing to do with wedding . . . . and as much as I tell my folks not this year, or take it easy this year, it NEVER works.
I am not complaining, just annoyed at my own indecisiveness . . .
