i just moved back to NY from Boston 2 months ago to take a new job, and my company was shut down today indefinitely. No warning, no nothing....I can't believe these people let me leave a full time job in Boston to come here, fully knowing they were going to shut the company down... 4 months to my wedding, and I'm freaking out to say the least... Sorry for the vent...I'm so upset right now...

OMG - I am soooo sorry to hear this! I really feel for you. I was just laid off on 1/25 after 9 years! I am FINALLY starting work again on Monday!
I hope you can find a new job as soon as possible. Don't let this upset you too much, you have your beautiful wedding to plan! Best of luck to you!

ohh, that sounds really interesting but maybe this will give you a chance to explore different types of shows to produce that you might possibly enjoy even more. If you contact a head hunter, you will probably have a better chance of finding a new position sooner than trying on your own through monster or hotjobs. good luck
