I love MAC cosmetics..

As most of you girls know, I went for a make up trail at a Macys mac counter...well I didnt realize how much I LOVE their cosmetic line until I did my own make up this morning...I took pics and I look amazing!!! I mean its not the dramatic look I need for the wedding...but my skin looks amazing..and the foundation makes my skin so smooth Just thought I share

I went to Macys in Yonkers. I didnt like the make up trial too much...she put to much of the white looking eyeshadow...but thanks

Hmmm................was it 'shroom' or 'vanilla'? I did not notice, but I think she could have defined your eyes a tad more. Also, I thought it looked good, but that is not in person.

Are you going to go with the MAC lady?

It was shroom ...I am not going to go with her..because she charges $125!! and honestly, I think I can do a better job lol

I agree! $125 is a little expensive if you are not in love with it.
I am sure you will look great!!!

wow $125- thats crazy b/c i went to a mac counter & they charged me $50. well definitely do it yourself- i love mac also

I'm going for a MAC trial in December and she's charging me $50 for the trial but, $200 for the day of. is that redic or no? I have no idea how much these things cost?!!!

i think the day of should be no more than $75!! for $200- u should consider a LIW vendor on here b/c they usually charge $150- i just think thats alot for mac makeup.

I LOVE MAC cosmetics!!! Their studio fix powder foundation is fabulous!

$125 is pretty reasonable for someone to travel to you for the wedding day, and spend an hour or more on you. I personally charge that when I do brides, and LIW Vendors don't use any more of a superior product that they deserve to charge more.

I have worked for several makeup companies over the years, but I must say MAC shadows are some of the best.

I could obviously do my own makeup the day of my wedding, but I'd rather be pampered I priced alot of makeup artists, and so far most of them on here seem to charge $200 and up.. but I guess I'm kina picky

Well I actually went on ebay to see if I could purchase the colors you suggested but I keep being outbidded!! AH! I will probably go back to Macys this weekend I will let you know how it turns out. P.s. yes I guess for a make up artist to travel to the wedding site and spend an hour on me $125 would be reasonable, however, she told me to do the make up would be 125 she didnt mention traveling fees and she only spent about 20mins doing my make up

Yes, I have pics. Check out my album...not the one that says make up trail..the other one...I used Mac cosmetics and did my own everyday make up

ohhhhh yeaaaaa ive been using mac cosmetics for years!!!!!!!!! i lovvvvvvvve it too!!!!!

So I took all u gals suggestions and with wiht the colors

Hepcat
Swish
Plum Dressing
and I brought Brown Down (just cuz I love the color)

I brought them all on ebay for about $11 a piece, so once I get them in the mail I will redo my trail and also put the fake lashes and then I will be up for opinions again
