I love the ducks on LI!!!!!!!

Tonight while with Marie & Bill, from Wild Rose, we saw ducks & an awesome swan with a long long neck! I cant believe how happy I was to see the ducks & swan (white ducks with orange beaks, not the dark ones)

Am I silly or what?

i like to eat the ducks on long island. Yum!!

Seriously, jenn, I totally know what you mean. There is a duck pond in the middle of my town and FH and I have spent countless hours feeding all the cute ducks and swans that grace the pond. There is something so graceful and serene about them...at least until they poop on your car!!

Fh and i go and feed them once in a while

We live right on the lake here and there are tons of ducks and geese. We always feed them.

The funniest thing is when they cross the street all in a line. The hold up traffic for quite a while, but its sooooooooooooooooo funny!!

Seriously though - you get tired of the geese real fast around here - they take over the area! My parking lot at work was a breeding ground for them last year and they'll hiss at you if you get too close

They ARE so pretty, but its true, they can stop traffic as the waddle across the street

Ive been seeing bunny rabbits on my lawn lately! too cute !!!!!

Growing up in Massapequa - I used to love the ducks in Marjorie Post Park's lake....my mom would bring me there to feed them. Good memories.

Now duck sh*t - I can live w/o......some of those ducks are pretty agressive too. I like the Big Duck in Flanders/Hamptons.....ya know the big building shaped like a duck.
