Real tree seedlings as favors, you can plant them and let them grow. I love how it is environmentally friendly and something people might actually like. I would totally do this idea, but since I am getting married in Feb, I think people would plant them and they would die with the first frost.
Hopefully someone here will like them and use the idea.
thats so funny!!! i just aw that in a magazing the other day and loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i already got my favors and i figured noone would plant it and it would be a waste!! but i love the idea maybe for our DEC BRIDES?? like a mini christmas tree?? maybe with a little christmas orament?

I am doing a fake tree as the wishing tree but on the stand with the info on what to do with the tags and hanging on the tree i am saying we are planting a real tree once it is spring to represent the beauty of life or something like that. Don't know the words just yet.

my brother and sil did that for their wedding. unfortunately most people in my family do not have green thumbs and they did not last. fi and i are thinking of doing bamboo since it is a lot harder to kill them.

OMG...that is soooo funny. My best friend is doing that for her wedding (she thinks). Such a great idea...She is a huge Pearl Jam fan too...see...great minds think alike...
