I absolutely love that song by heartland and it's on the top of my list of 'DADDY DAUGHTER DANCES' anyone else thinking of using this? or definitely using it?

Not doing a father/daughter dance. My father passed away when I was 6 years old. I don't have any other men close to me.
I might dance with my brother-in-law....but I don't know.

One of my friends used this song to dance with her father too!
She played it for us in the car and there were 5 girls all hysterical crying.....people must have thought there was something wrong with us.
I think i am gonna have to use it for the song with my father. I played it for him and he cried. He said he'll have to listen to it a few times so he doesn't ball like a baby at the wedding!

my dad passed away in october 07, so i was thinking about dancing with my younger brother, or my uncles (and doing a half dance with each)--im def. going to find a bob dylan song for that dance, my dad loved bob dylan..in fact im walking down the aisle to a string quartet version of one of his songs...its a special tribute

Aw that is so sweet. My dad is a huge Bob Dylan fan too! I wanted to do 'Forever Young' as my father daughter dance song but my sister has already claimed it! What song are you having the string quartet do?
