I'm Back and MARRIED! Here is the review...

Hello all!
I wanted to thank everyone for their help and advice over the past 10 months...and I hope my review helps you make some vendor decisions!

Wedding Ceremony and Reception:
Harrison House in Glen Cove, NY: A-
Harrison House was easy to work with and a beautiful setting. The best part of it is that it is a hotel, so people can stay over either before or after the wedding.
Also, there is an adorable bar and game room on the top floor of the mansion and a small bowling alley in the basement, so after the wedding, guests can hang out and drink and play games at the bar. We spent three hours after the wedding running around the mansion playing games and keeping the party going! I think I had more fun AFTER the wedding relaxing in the bar then DURING the wedding running aroung greeting everyone like a lunatic!

Hair/Makeup:
Lorraine from The Romantic Hair Studio in Baldwin, NY: A-
Lorraine was amazing in that she was so calm and really took charge the morning of the wedding helping me get dressed and make decisions.
I loved my makeup and hair and she really listened to what I wanted and did not just do what SHE wanted.
In addition, her prices are extremely reasonable and she is a perfectionist, so she will work with you at the hair trial until it is right for you. I went back for two trials and did two different styles each time and she was extremely easy to work with.

Flowers:
Laurie from LA Blossom in Huntington, NY:A
Laurie is such a sweetie and an easy and creative person to work with! The week before the wedding I must have e-mailed her a 100 times and she always answered immediately and was really helpful throughout the whole process. Plus, she is a PRO working with difficult parents!!
Her centerpieces were beautiful and everyone wanted to take them home at the end of the night. The bo-k's were amazing as well.
What is also great, is that she will travel to meet you, even to your home and she is never in a rush, if it takes 3 hours to make decisions, she'll be there 3 hours with you!
She's great!!

Photography:
Dominic from Twelfth Night in Garden City Park, NY: A
Dominic was amazing...he was SO easy to work with during the wedding and he was very cool and relazxd and unabtrusive. I thought I would be embarrassed posing for a million pictures, but he made it easy and fun.
I HIGHLY recommend him!

Honeymoon:
Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica: A-
Couples was a lot of fun. We spent the week eating and drinking on the beach and met a lot of other fun couples to eat dinner and hang out with. It was a beautiful resort and the rooms facing the ocean and beach had an amazing view from the balcony.
The only negative was that after dinner, there is not much to do at night besides drink. There are no activities to really do at night and the band they bring on the resort was not too great, it didn't motivate many people to dance.
However, it was a great honeymoon!! And there are two other COuples resorts. I heard the Couples Negril is a lot of fun as well. So check them out!
