I'm Back!!! My 11/3 Wedding!

We'll, we are finally back after a wonderful wedding and fabulous honeymoon. Hopefully I will have access to some digital pictures to share soon! Here are my thoughts on the day: Rehearsal Dinner - Touch of Venice, Mattituck: Great! We had the entire side room all to ourselves so the atmosphere was very casual and relaxed. There were about 30 of us and we just got the chance to walk around, talk and enjoy each other's company. The food was great and served 'family-style' so everyone ate and drank as much as they wanted. Hair and Makeup - Jason Royce Salon, Woodbury: I bought the Bridal Package here and I highly recommend it. They give you your trial hair and makeup, massage, manicure, pedicure and 'day-of' hair and makeup all for $300. My MIL and SIL have been going here for years. Everyone looked beautiful! 3 different girls in other bridal parties got their hair done like my sister because they liked the style so much. Photographer - Imagine Studios: I can't express what a pleasure it was to work with Lia and her assistant. They were so friendly and non-intrusive the entire day. I can't wait to see the pictures we took at Breakwater Beach! We were able to get a beautiful sunset! They stay until the end of your ceremony and capture every moment of the wedding. Highly recommended and praised by both families! Florist - Bayport Floral Houses: All I can say is that I loved my flowers! I had a bouquet of mini and regular black-magic roses. The girls' bouquets PERFECTLY matched their gold dresses with all different autumn-toned roses and berries. The centerpieces were amazing and huge! Since our catering hall is all ivory, including tables and chairs, we used NO white or ivory our flowers. Only color...and it looked amazing. Gizbert received so many complements from the guests on his work and all the centerpieces went home with none to waste. DJ - Spin Around Sound: Tom and Anthony are so much fun to have at your wedding. They had the dance floor packed the entire night. Tom would come over to us every once in a while to check on how they were doing. Wonderful and very professional! Empire State Limo: Everything ran perfectly! The stretch was on-time and they showed up with the 1962 white Thunderbird convertible in perfect condition after the ceremony. Lia went crazy taking pictures of us in this car! The guests loved it. If you guys are in to classic cars, definitely give them a call. It is such a neat way to make your wedding a little different from everyone else's! Vineyard Caterers: I can't even begin to express how wonderful the staff, food, service, etc. is at the Vineyard! John, our maitre'd was fabulous! There was more food to go around that I can explain, including seconds for dinner!!! We attended our entire cocktail hour and ate until we were stuffed! Every time we returned to our table,we had a new drink sitting there for us. I have never received more complements or tasted better food that at Vineyard Caterers. They made our entire wedding worth every penny and I can't express enough how happy I was with them! I will post separately on the Hawaii/Vegas honeymoon but until then, be sure to enjoy your day! It goes by like a dream and you can't believe it is gone! Enjoy!
