I'm ****ed..

I booked our photographer almost a year ago. Last week we go to meet the photographer for the first time. We are on time (FI and I got in a fight because I was complaining how we are always late for everything). When we get there I tell them who we are there to see. Another couple comes in behind us. I see the guy that we told running to talk to the manager. I thought it was because of the other couple, but it turned out our photographer wasnt there. We are there 15 minutes waiting, I go find out what is going on. They can not find him, they have called his house, his cell and all his number. The whole time they are saying that this is unlike him, etc, etc.

30 minutes later, he is still a no-show. I'm ****ed! It took us an hour in rush hour evening traffic to get out there. We talk to the manager and she adds 10 more pictures to our album, but I'm still made. So we left..

I get a call the next morning from him telling me his car broke down. I dont believe him. If you car breaks down and you have an appt waiting for you then you call the studio as soon as you can to let them know what happened. And if that is not possible then you call them that night.

Anyway, he told me he would call me today to redchedule appt. I havent heard from him. I called the photography place and he is not there when he told me he was going to be there today. At this point I dont trust this guy to show up at my weddinng and want a new photographer.

I'm soo ****ed!!!!! I talked with FI and he says give it a day and we will see what happens. Which means dont do anything and we will see him on our wedding day. No way!!!! We spent too much money to be treated this way.

Is it so hard to ask for someone to be a grown up and do their job. If you said you are going to call especially after ditching them... I'm ****ed!!!!

I would also be mad! Who is this photographer? (FM me if you like). But, I would start moving on...maybe the company can assign you a different photographer? That way, you wouldn't lose any money...

Demand they assign you another photographer immediately or you will cancel your contract. I read your profile...your photographer poops its pants when threatened....trust me.

If you need the names of good ones...FM me...also, FM me the name of who you were assigned.

I would find someone else...or use that as a bargining tool that just sounds like a bunch of BS to me.. If you need some one else who is 'PROFESSIONAL' check out Patken it couldn't hurt

I would be nervous as well...he has a cell phone...he could have called...


I had a dj (popular from this site) not show up to an appointment...and I forgot about them right away

just in case you don't know cassarino is under new owner ship i don't know if that has anything to do with it

I'm so sorry your going through this. Speak to the mgr/owner and ask to be reassigned. It will work out for the best.

I would be mad too....I used your photographer for my wedding. In my agt. was for the owner to shoot for our day & the pictures came out amazing. They were very professional, but what you described about that photographer is not acceptable. I would demand to know what is going on or tell them you are going to take your business elsewhere.

I had a limo company set up an appt (at my parents' house---at the time) and the time came & went, no call, nothing. We waited and tried calling his company but got the machine.

Well the next time he showed up on time, etc. & he blew it off....my dad kinda had words with him & just to stick my dad the day of the wedding, everything was awesome & on time, but he did not send the parents' towncar to drive them to the reception.

He apologized & made it up by sending us a stretch to take us to the airport, but he did it just to 'show my dad' up after the argument.

I'd demand either another photographer & get it in writing or start looking for new company.
