The marriage license is only valid for 60 days, so don`t go any earlier then 60 days before your wedding. You can get a marriage license at any town hall in NY state. Good Luck!

The license is only good for 60 days before the wedding, so you can't even get it until it's at least 60 days before your wedding. But, once it is within that period, you should go for it as soon as possible, so you can get done with one more IMPORTANT detail that you won't have to worry about as the wedding draws closer.
