I'm MARRIED!!!

I can honestly say that my wedding day was the BEST DAY EVER! It was everything I envisioned & more. It was joyful, love-filled, and FUN! DH & I agree the only thing we would change is that it would never end! I may write a full review after we get back from the honeymoon (we leave 9/17) but I NEED to give a shout-out to a few ABOVE & BEYOND vendors.

Spitz & Peck (florist) - From the moment my mom & I met with Bob (DH isn't really in to flowers ) we knew he got what we were asking for. I was TOTALLY blown away when I saw the final product. Everyone is talking about our centerpieces, the bouquets were to die for, and he made us a chuppah that was personal & beautiful. He absolutely made my vision come to life!

A Modern Day Affair (DOC) - I seriously don't know how people have weddings without a DOC! Laura & Rosalin thought of a million little things that would never have occurred to me! They are on top of it, and they totally have your back! This is great because it allowed my mom & MOH to relax & enjoy the day, because my DOC's were taking care of everything. I HIGHLY recommend using AMDA. I want to use them for another event in the future!

Hank Lane - Dane Wright Band - OH MY GOODNESS. There are no words for how UNBELIEVABLE, AMAZING, TALENTED, FUN, I could go on and on and on, and so could most of my guests! Every single person that talks about our wedding talks about how amazing our band was!!! The most frequent compliment is 'best wedding band ever!' I could not agree more. They without a doubt made our wedding the fun, upbeat, dance party that it was. I don't even think I am properly conveying just how FANTASTIC they are. I danced the entire night - my body was sore the next day from so much jumping around & dancing They read the crowd and played music that EVERYONE loved & kept everyone on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG which is exactly what I wanted. I was in the bathroom and I heard them playing 'Under the Bridge' by RHCP and I almost ripped my dress running out! My guests couldn't believe they played that song. They come out on to the dance floor and interact with the crowd (but not in a cheesy sweet-16 way) and get everybody up & involved. They were one of the absolute highlights of my wedding, I could not be more grateful & happy with their performance!

Saving the best for last...

THE ROYALTON - The Royalton.
If you are having your wedding there, can you invite me? Because I REALLY want to go back there! As our wedding was ending, our banquet manager said to DH 'I'm going to miss you guys, you have to come back and visit'! They make you feel like family, and there is no substitute for that. The grounds are breathtaking, the bridal suite (we also stayed there the night of our wedding) is gorgeous & completely my taste - it's decorated in red toile which is exactly how my bedroom at my parents house is decorated! My bridal attendant, Michelle, was sweet, funny & extraordinarily helpful. We worked primarily with Jorge, and I don't have enough space to talk about how AWESOME he is. He went above & beyond for us in every way. We told him what we wanted and he delivered a thousand times over. The food was to DIE for - all of our guests are raving about how it was the best food they ever had. DH & I both have ties to Philadelphia and we had a Philly station at our cocktail hour - the cheesesteaks from the Royalton beat Pats or Ginos ANY DAY! I could go on about the food for hours. The ballroom was breathtakingly gorgeous - I was SO SO happy when they showed it to me the first time. The thing that stands out most about the Royalton, however, is the service - their service is BEYOND COMPARE. All our guests talk about how their drinks were refilled without asking, food came warm & timely, needs were met immediately. They are right by your side the whole night. Like I said, they made DH & I feel like family.


That was a lot more than I intended to write, but when you have amazing vendors, you need to give them their due!
